Fall/ winter pitching program

WHAT IS IT?

We are looking for High School pitchers who want to take their development to the next level this fall/winter. 


We will be offering a fall/winter pitching program that will help pitchers increase strength, lean body mass, ramp up safely for the upcoming season, and help improve their pitching performance. 


The program will run from Sept 1-Feb 21 (Thanksgiving week off, Christmas week off, New Years off) total of 25 weeks 

ASSESSMENT

  • In depth assessment and consultation
  • Individualized Strength training
  • Daily Throwing Routines
  • Mechanical breakdowns
  • Bullpens with Trackman (spin direction, velocity, pitch shape, etc)
  • Manual Therapy from a licensed Physical Therapist 

INDIVIDUALIZED PROGRAM

We will then meet with you and discuss your mobility and strength numbers, your pitching mechanics, pitch design, and your program moving forward. You will be provided with an individualized weekly throwing program, strength training program, and recovery program.

OFF SEASON DEVELOPMENT

The program will run from Sept 1-Feb 21 (Thanksgiving week off, Christmas week off, New Years off) total of 25 weeks 


Phase 1 (Sept 2-Oct 24) : Build lean body mass and prep the body to throw 

Include: 

  • Individualized training plan 
  • Arm Care
  • Pitching drills off the mound (Med ball, waterbag, Plyo balls)


Phase 2 (Oct 27-Jan 2): Throwing begins, ramp up to long toss and Pulldowns at the end of December

Include: 

  • Individualized training plan 
  • Arm Care 
  • Pitching drills
  • Throwing sessions in the cage 


Phase 3 (Jan 5-Feb 20): Ramp up to Bullpens and be ready for tryouts in February

Include:

  • Individualized training plan 
  • Arm Care 
  • Pitching drills
  • Throwing sessions in the cage 


Phase 1 is optional but highly recommended, it will set the foundation for strength and movement. 

You can join starting Phase 2, but you cannot join Phase 3 without participating in Phase 2.
